Our client is the leading tourist organization in and around Amsterdam and organizes canal tours and excursions, among other things. As City Host Amsterdam, you will be the face of our client and ensure that guests have an optimal experience.

What will you do?

As City Host Amsterdam, you will ensure that the canal boats depart full and that guests are well-informed and satisfied onboard. Additionally, you will be responsible for selling products in one of the twelve shops and enjoy informing (potential) guests about the city of Amsterdam. Finally, you will sometimes assist as a City Host on one of our boats. In short, a varied job with plenty of challenges!

Who are you?

You are guest-oriented and commercial
You speak fluent English, a second language is an advantage
You are flexible; you are available at least 2 days a week, also in the evenings and weekends
You have knowledge of the city of Amsterdam and like to share that with others
Experience in tourism, catering, or hospitality is not a requirement, but a bonus!

Depending on your experience, the hourly rate is between € 11.72 and € 15.24 excluding 8% holiday allowance.
